World’s Largest Christmas Tree

Think that big tree in New York is huge? It’s a puny twig compared to the tree they put up in Gubbio, Italy. The holiday display, which has been in the Guinness Book of World Records since 1991, uses some 1,000 lights with the shooting star tree topper requiring 250 more — in all covering almost 11,000 square feet. Now that’s a Christmas tree:
